What Von sends out of your computer by default, when, to whom, and the switch that stops it, version by version, with how we know.
The answer
By its source at v1.3.5, not run: when Von loads and finds no local copy of its scoring head and calibration file, it downloads them from its own repository on huggingface.co, and it makes no report of its own at import; HF_HUB_OFFLINE=1, set before the program starts, stops the download (or give it a local folder with the files), after which it stops with an error if the files are not on disk; its [intel] extra brings in OpenVINO, whose import report is its own row.
